Ocean Totem is a design from one of my original acrylic painting. The top design is a replica of my favorite pattern from the Infahani rug from my families home. Some of my first memories were playing on this rug mesmerized by the designs. It has taken me many years to master drawing the beautiful patterns that originate form Iran. The vertical compositionrepresents the body with the lotus at the base and the seed of life at the top. I used a reflection tool to repeat them image.
