I call this composition a Totem with the subject matter vertically stacked representing our body and spirit as it connects to the heavens. The top design and the lotus at the bottom is a Tabriz design from Iran. These are two patterns I tried to master as a child and just became frustrated, but learned as I became an adult. The sea is our spirit as it is infinite leading to one light rising from the darker lower end of the image. It is all inspired by my family's past life in Iran. This artwork I have kept as part of my personal collection. It is currently available.
